Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
AppOnFly s.r.o. provides the AppOnFly website and cloud Windows virtual desktop services. We are registered in the Czech Republic under identification number 03285685, in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, file 229617. Our registered address is Jankovcova 1569/2c, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic.
For privacy questions or requests concerning your personal data, contact office@apponfly.com or write to our registered address, marked “Privacy”.
2. Information we process
We process information you provide when you create or use an account, subscribe to a service, manage billing or contact support. This may include your name, email address, account details, subscription and transaction information, and the contents of your communications.
Our service also processes technical and usage information needed to operate cloud desktops and the website, such as connection information, device and browser information, service activity and diagnostic records. Files and other content you place in a virtual machine are processed as part of providing that service. Please avoid including passwords or unnecessary sensitive information in support requests.
3. Signing in with Google
AppOnFly offers Google sign-in through Google Firebase Authentication. This sign-in requests the openid, email and profile permissions. These provide your Google account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile image where available, to authenticate you and associate your sign-in with your AppOnFly account.
This sign-in flow does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar or Google Contacts. Services you independently access or install inside your cloud desktop have their own permissions and privacy policies.
You can manage AppOnFly’s connection in your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/connections. Removing a connection does not itself delete your AppOnFly account, billing records or virtual-machine data.
4. How and why information is used
We use account and service information to create and manage your account, authenticate access, deliver and administer your cloud desktop, process subscriptions, communicate about the service and respond to support requests. We also process information to maintain and improve operations, investigate technical issues, prevent misuse, protect the service and meet legal obligations.
For people covered by the GDPR, the relevant legal basis depends on the purpose: performance of our contract for account and service delivery; legal obligations for records we must keep; legitimate interests in service security, administration and improvement; and consent where required for optional tracking or communications. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Sharing and service providers
Providing AppOnFly involves service providers for hosting and infrastructure, authentication, website operations, payments and customer support. These providers receive information relevant to their role. Our website uses Wix, Google Firebase supports Google sign-in, and our help centre uses Zendesk. Website tracking technologies are explained in our Cookie Policy.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to address lawful requests, protect legal rights or investigate abuse. Our contractual confidentiality obligations apply to customer information and to subcontractors involved in delivering the service.
Some service providers operate internationally. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, applicable data-protection rules require an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
6. Security and access
The AppOnFly website and sign-in pages use HTTPS to protect data in transit. Access to customer information may be needed for service delivery, administration, technical support and maintenance, subject to confidentiality obligations. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and maintain independent copies of important files stored in a cloud desktop.
7. Retention and deletion
Retention depends on the type of information and its purpose. Account and service records are relevant while your account or subscription is active; some records may need to be retained afterwards for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes. Virtual-machine storage has a separate lifecycle from account and billing records: resetting, expiring or terminating a desktop can result in loss of its files. Keep your own backups and check the service information applicable to your plan.
To request deletion of your account or personal data, contact office@apponfly.com or our registered address. Identify the account by its email address, but do not send your password. We may need to verify your identity. We will explain any information that must be retained and the reason. Cancelling a subscription, deleting virtual-machine files and disconnecting Google sign-in are different actions; none should be assumed to complete the others automatically.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict processing, receive portable data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. You may object to direct marketing at any time. These rights may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Use the contact details above to make a request.
You may complain to your local supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic, this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), https://uoou.gov.cz.
9. Cookies and other websites
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for technical operation, analytics and marketing. See the Cookie Policy for the technologies observed on the AppOnFly domain and available browser controls. Third-party websites and software that you choose to use through AppOnFly are governed by their own privacy notices.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. This policy concerns personal-data processing; the Terms and Conditions separately govern use of the service.
