What happens if my renewal payment by card fails?

AppOnFly displays all declined payment errors exactly as they are reported by your bank.

If your next month’s payment fails on the 25th day of the month, there was a problem with processing your last payment. You will be notified by e-mail immediately and a “PAYMENT OVERDUE” message and the total amount due is displayed on your dashboard.

The error codes and associated text are not always very useful for troubleshooting potential issues. Try checking your account balance, card expiry dates or contact your bank for assistance.

If we do not receive payment for the remainder of this month, your account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to access your apps and data.

When your status is PAYMENT OVERDUE, you are not allowed to make any changes to your web dashboard (like adding new apps, deactivate apps, etc.) until the payment is settled, except for changing your card details – see How do I change my payment card details?


Example:

You are a user of AppOnFly Platform and MS Project Standard 2013

On 25th May, your renewal payment fails

You receive an e-mail notification and “PAYMENT OVERDUE” is displayed on your dashboard with the total amount due of EUR 22,40.

You check your card and discover that it has already expired.

On 28th May, you change your card details and authorize the payment with your new card.

Your payment issue is solved and payment is processed with your subscription active until 30 June.
